Application

We have Copper Slag in various particle size . Based on application of  Copper Slag and cleanliness level copper slag can be classified as (Sa 2, 2.5, 3) and anchor profile (40 – 120 microns).

<p> Copper Slag most commonly used as abrasives for surface preparation prior to painting in fabrication, ship yards & projects.</p>
Technical Specification

We have copper slag in six grades from Turbo+ to HD+ with different particle size. The user has the option to choose the appropriate grade based on the cleanliness level (SA2, 2½ & 3) and anchor profile (40-120 microns) requirements.
Copper slag is most commonly used as blasting agent in heavy industries,  shipyards, oil & gas companies, paint manufacturers, coating contractors, tank builders, pressure vessel fabricators, off shore yards, construction chemical manufacturers and all major industries.

NIOSH-approved garments and head gear during blasting operations. See Section 8
CLEANUP MEASURES A release that is smaller than the RQ (11,952 tons) will pose a housekeeping problem. Material should be swept or vacuumed into appropriate containers.

NORMAL STORAGE

General dry storage, ambient air temperature and pressure.

HANDLING Follow good housekeeping practices to reduce airborne emissions. Use approved respiratory protection and clothing in abrasive blast environments

 

Engineering Controls

Provide sufficient mechanical (general and/or local exhaust) ventilation to maintain exposures below PELs or TLVs during loading and unloading. Mechanical exhaust may be appropriate during processing. Special exhaust may be appropriate during normal abrasive blasting operations.

EYE AND FACE PROTECTION Use safety glasses with side shields. If there is potential for exposure to particles which could cause mechanical injury to the eye, wear goggles.
SKIN AND HAND PROTECTION Gloves as desired by user.
