Their conclusion on this product reads:

"In general, this cleaning agent poses little danger to the environment, its main ingredients will either dissolve rapidly and dissociate in water or are readily/inherently biodegradable."Based upon their report, IMO's BCH Working Group on the Evaluation of Safety and Pollution Hazards approved this product for use as tank cleaning agent by chemical tankers.
