Orange BAHE Cleaner

RXSOL Organge BAHE Cleaner is a citrus-solvent based cleaner specifically developed for cleaning brazed aluminum heat exchanger (BAHE) surfaces and associated process equipment contaminated with hydrocarbon deposits, compressor oils, grease, oily residues and other organic fouling.

The product utilizes the high solvency of Sweet Orange Extract / Orange Oil to penetrate and loosen oily and hydrocarbon-based deposits. Orange, sweet, ext. is identified as extractives and derivatives obtained from Citrus sinensis and is listed for industrial cleaning applications.

The formulation is intended to provide effective organic-deposit removal while avoiding the aggressive acidic descaling chemistry commonly associated with mineral-scale cleaners.

Application

Brazed Aluminum Heat Exchangers / Aluminum Heat Exchanger Systems cleaning liquid

Brazed Aluminum Heat Exchangers

Particularly where fouling consists of:
  • Compressor oil
  • Lubricating oil
  • Hydrocarbon residues
  • Grease
  • Process oils
  • Oily dust deposits
  • Carbonaceous/oily films
  • Organic process residues
  • Light-to-moderate sludge
  • Hydrocarbon contamination
Typical equipment
  • Brazed aluminum plate-fin heat exchangers
  • Aluminum heat exchanger cores
  • Air coolers
  • Gas coolers
  • Compressor heat exchangers
  • Refrigeration heat exchangers
  • LNG-related aluminum heat-transfer equipment
  • Process gas coolers
  • Chiller heat exchangers
  • Oil coolers
  • Condensers
  • Evaporator systems
  • Heat-transfer equipment contaminated with oil

The citrus solvent penetrates oily deposits and reduces their adhesion to the metal surface. With circulation, agitation or soaking, the deposited organic material is progressively loosened and dispersed into the cleaning solution.
