Antiscalant Boiler

Antiscalant for Boiler is specially designed to control the development of scale in Boiler Water plants. It is based on a synergistic blend of Polymer and phosphonates which are found to be more effective than other polymers at controlling carbonate and sulphate scale formation in water distillation units .

SAFETY INFORMATION:

Gloves and goggles should be worn as a precaution when handling the concentrated solution. (See Material Safety Data Sheets for further information).
Antiscalant Boiler  is compatible with carbon steel and other commonly used materials of construction. Observe all safety precautions shown in the material safety data sheet, available on request.

Antiscalant Boiler  is an aqueous solution of neutralised Polymer with phosphonic acid. It has been approved for use in potable water applications and does not contribute to assimilable organic carbon (AOC), which can act as source of nutrient for micro-organisms.

Application
PREVENTS IRON FOULING and SILICA ANTISCALANT properties.

Convenient liquid formulation for automatic dosing using suitable dosing equipment.
Prevents formation of hard scale in seawater distillation units.
Performance surpasses other similar products.
Cost effective concentrate.
Effective at high temperatures.
Dosage
The correct dosage rate is dependant upon several parameters, including feed temperature, pH, and chemical analysis and will be specified by your VWS consultant after a detailed survey of your plant. To obtain the best results, Antiscalant Boiler RX should be added continuously using a suitable metering pump.

In general PRACTICE :
Antiscalant Boiler RX should be dosed continuously to the feed water upstream of the cartridge filters. Typical dosage rates are 2 – 4 mg/L.
Antiscalant Boiler RX may also be used in sea water applications where iron is present, recycle of brine is in use or there is no feed water pH reduction by acid dosing.

Typical dose rates are 0.5 – 1.0 mg/L
Boiler Antiscalant  dose rate in the feed water should be less than 5 mg/L in potable water systems.
Antiscalant Boiler can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions.
Technical Specification
Appearance Clear, Yellowish Amber Liquid
Flash point Non-flammable
Solubility in water Soluble in all proportions
Freezing Point -15 Degree
General Specification :-

Gloves and goggles should be worn as a precaution when handling the concentrated solution. (See Material Safety Data Sheets for further information)
