Drag

WATER BASED GROUT STAIN/SEALER

RXSOL ORG SFB-100i is designed to enhance the recovery of stimulation fluids and improve gas and oil production. It lowers surface tension of water-based fluids in order to counteract the high capillary pressures characteristic of tighter formations. RXSOL ORG SFB-100i is an environmentally friendly additive that contains no methanol.
When added to fracturing fluids,RXSOL ORG SFB-100i  is completely soluble, and the dispersion in the fracturing fluid is extremely rapid, making the surfactant ideal for on-the-fly applications. Also, it has the ability to assist in the hydration of inverse emulsion friction reducers to provide higher levels of drag reduction in water with high levels of dissolved solids.

Water-based flowback surfactant for use during fracturing applications

RXSOL ORG SFB-100i is designed to enhance the recovery of stimulation fluids and improve gas and oil production. It lowers surface tension of water-based fluids in order to counteract the high capillary pressures characteristic of tighter formations. RXSOL ORG SFB-100i is an environmentally friendly additive that contains no methanol.

Also, it has the ability to assist in the hydration of inverse emulsion friction reducers to provide higher levels of drag reduction in water with high levels of dissolved solids.

Application

Water-based flowback surfactant for use during fracturing applications. RXSOL ORG SFB-100i  is recommended for application in slickwater, conventional gel or hybrid-type fracturing treatments and acidizing treatments. The product will help to solubilize liquid condensate in the well and strip hydrocarbons off the formation, improving production.

Dosage

Its critical micelle concentration (CMC) point happens at 0.3 Ltr per 1000 Ltr in a 2% potassium chloride (KCl) brine, stabilizing from this point onward. The dosage range in the field is 0.5 - 3  Ltr per 1000 Ltr of fracturing fluid. The most typical dosage is around 1 Ltrs  / 1000 Ltrs.

Suitable Extinguishing Media : Foam, Carbon dioxide, Dry powder, Other extinguishing agent suitable for Class B fires, For large fires, use water spray or fog, thoroughly drenching the burning material. Water mist may be used to cool closed containers.
Fire Hazard : Restrict access to area as appropriate until clean-up operations are complete. Use personal protective equipment recommended in Section 8 (Exposure Controls/Personal Protection). Stop or reduce any leaks if it is safe to do so. Ventilate spill area if possible. Ensure clean-up is conducted by trained personnel only. Do not touch spilled material. Have emergency equipment (for fires, spills, leaks, etc.) readily available. Notify appropriate government, occupational health and safety and environmental authorities.
Special Fire Fighting Procedure :

Flammable Liquid; may release vapors that form flammable mixtures at or above the flash point. Vapors can travel to a source of ignition and flash back. Empty product containers may contain product residue. Do not pressurize, cut, heat, weld, or expose containers to flame or other sources of ignition. May evolve oxides of carbon (COx) under fire conditions. In case of fire, wear a full face positive-pressure self contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Hazardous decomposition: Under fire conditions: Oxides of carbon Keep away from heat / sparks / open flames / hot surfaces - No smoking.
Keep cool. Ground / bond container and receiving equipment.
Use explosion-proof electrical / ventilating / light / equipment.
Use only non-sparking tools.
Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Avoid breathing dust / fume / gas / mist / vapors / spray.

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Personal Precautions : Restrict access to area as appropriate until clean-up operations are complete. Notify appropriate government, occupational health and safety and environmental authorities.. Refer to protective measures listed in sections 7 and 8.
Environmental Precautions :

Do not allow spills to enter drains or waterways.
Use good personal hygiene practices. Wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using toilet. Promptly remove soiled clothing and wash thoroughly before reuse.

Methods for Containment and Clean Up :

Restrict access to area as appropriate until clean-up operations are complete.
SMALL SPILLS: Soak up spill with absorbent material. Place residues in a suitable, covered, properly labeled container. Wash affected area. LARGE SPILLS: Contain liquid using absorbent material, by digging trenches or by diking. Reclaim into recovery or salvage drums or tank truck for proper disposal. Clean contaminated surfaces with water or aqueous cleaning agents. Contact an approved waste hauler for disposal of contaminated recovered material. Dispose of material in compliance with regulations indicated in Section 13 (Disposal Considerations).

  Exposure controls

If workers are exposed to concentrations above the exposure limit they must use theappropriate, certified respirators.

Engineering Measures : General ventilation is recommended. The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended to control emissions near the source. Laboratory samples should be handled in a fumehood. Provide mechanical ventilation of confined spaces.
Personal Protection :

Eye/Face Protection: Wear a face shield with chemical splash goggles.
Skin Protection : When handling this product, the use of chemical gauntlets is recommended. The choice of work glove depends on work conditions and what chemicals are handled, but we have positive experience under light handling conditions using gloves made from Nitrile Gloves should be replaced immediately if signs of degradation are observed. Breakthrough time not determined as preparation, consult PPE manufacturers. When handling this product, the use of a chemical resistant suit and rubber boots is recommended.

Hygiene Measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Use only with adequate ventilation.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
Respiratory Protection   Where concentrations in air may exceed the limits given in this section, the use of a half face filter mask or air supplied breathing apparatus is recommended.A suitable filter material depends on the amount and type of chemicals being handled.Consider the use of filter type:A-B-E-K-PIn event of emergency or planned entry into unknown concentrations a positive pressure, full-facepiece SCBA should be used.If respiratory protection is required, institute a complete respiratory protection program including selection, fit testing, training, maintenance and inspection.

Exposure to solvent vapor concentrations from the component solvents in excess of the stated occupational exposure limits may result in
adverse health effects such as mucous membrane and respiratory system irritation and adverse effects on the kidneys, liver and central
nervous system. Symptoms include headache, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, muscular weakness, drowsiness and in extreme
cases, loss of consciousness.

Repeated or prolonged contact with the preparation may cause removal of natural fat from the skin resulting in dryness, irritation and possible
non-allergic contact dermatitis. Solvents may also be absorbed through the skin. Splashes of liquid in the eyes may cause irritation and
soreness with possible reversible damage.
